I’m stretching my pursuits from my last decade of academic and non-profit work - into a world that weaves together my passions for social justice - artistic expression - textile & fiber arts - local history - and digital design.

Exhibit Curation
’Art of Wampum’

The Art of Wampum was a month long display in the CAP ArtSpace at the Tompkins Center for History & Culture in November 2021 showcasing replica wampum belts woven by Rich Hamell of the Seneca Art & Culture Center at Ganondagan, and wampum inspired prints by Brandon Lazore (Onondaga Nation) and Bruce King (Oneida Nation) exploring the histories and meanings captured in the traditional belt designs and the historic events they symbolize.

Digital Accessibility

A Guide for Visitors with Autism to The History Center in Tompkins County

Examples of my accessibility work can be seen at The History Center in Tompkins County. Major projects included coordinating audio versions of over 50 walking tours on the PocketSights app; developing their “Pre-Visit Guide to The History Center for Visitors on the Autism Spectrum”; developing alt-text for all images at thehistorycenter.net; creating and reviewing subtitles for all YouTube videos; and working with the Finger Lakes Independence Center to implement physical engagement and display changes for all museum exhibits from 2021-2024.
